Sari is a traditionnal five meter long fabric that Indian women have been wearing for centuries. Guylaine Tilleau the designer, ex-fashion editor, search each piece of these precious cloth with a lot of care at antique dealers in India. The fabrics are then sent to Morocco where skilled embroiderers bring the finishing with their needles, using Sabra, a vegan silk thread used traditionally in Moroccan embroideries. The collection is designed in the pure spirit of « upcycling », Guylaine collects exceptional saris and revisit them with a lot of style and modernity in a boho chic couture spirit . Each HAND.SO.ON garment is full with symbols, never twice the same piece, with adjustable size. The authenticity of each fabric that travelled from India to Morocco and back to France makes every piece a rare collector’s item steeped in history and beauty that you will keep forever in your wardrobe.
